New York engraved and “L.N.” signed (Nimschke) Otis Smith .30 caliber rimfire revolver with 2 5/8” barrel, nickel plated, varnished grips showing the name and patent “April 15, 1873” on the top of the frame. This pistol remains in fineto near excellent original condition showing 95% plus bright original nickel with just some very minor pinprick pitting starting in a couple of minuscule areas. Serial number 7103. Very few 19th-century American arms show the signature ofthis top New York master engraver. Very desirable. Est.: $3,500-$7,000
