Manufactured circa 1868 - 1881. This revolver is decorated with New York floral scroll and punch dot engraved on the barrel sides, frame, cylinder flats and top of the back strap. The top of the barrel rib is marked with the one line address, 1855, 59 and 60 patent dates, the serial number is marked on the butt and inside of both grip panels, and the matching assembly number "LL 1" is marked on the left toe under the grip, back of the barrel lug and on the front cylinder face. Blade front sight, nickel finish with gold ejector stud and cylinder, and casehardened hammer. Fitted with smooth ivory grips.

Condition: Fine as partially refinished, gold cylinder and ejector pin. The balance retains 95% original nickel finish with strong original case colors on the hammer. The grips are excellent with a few minor hairline age cracks and a pleasant mellow aged patina. The markings and engraving are clear. The barrel hinge is tight and the action is very good.
