New Model Remington .44 caliber revolver converted to cartridge, blue finish, wood grips, percussion #83224, conversion #95 stamped in large letters over original serial number with ā€œDā€ stamp in front of loadinglever latch. The revolver retains 20-40% blue finish, with good edges, some muzzle wear, scattered erosion, and pinprick pitting. Barrel address is slightly light from refinish at time of conversion. Theconversion is the most commonly seen type where the percussion cylinder was cut, a back-plate added, and a recoil plate added to the back of the frame. The grips are good with some minor dings, mars, scratches.Action is tight, bore very good.
