For your consideration is this Native American celt pair from the Neolithic period circa 10,000-4,500 BC. The celt's show smooth finish consistent with the periods tool preference on with a torpedo like construction with a scraper like head, the second shows a spoon like design with a rounded head and geometric shaft. The celt is a prehistoric stone or metal implement with a beveled cutting edge, probably used as a tool or weapon. The condition of this of these celt's are well preserved and in good condition with no obvious signs of damage to the tools despite their age. The measurements of these celt's are 10" x 1 1/2" x 1 1/4" and 8" x 2" x 1".
