Near relic condition deluxe engraved 1875 Remington, considerable traces of original gold finish on ejector rod housing and hammer, ivory grips, numbered 12 under grip. The revolver shows early pinched type frontsight, scattered light to heavy pitting on metal surfaces and indications of silver plate on cylinder, barrel and frame. The metal has gone to a dark patina with light to heavy pitting, and curiously the cylinderwas never engraved but is aged to match and shows a trace of silver. The grips are fragmentary, missing large chips and show staining. The action is working, the bore is surprisingly good, overall a very pleasingwestern relic that was extremely deluxe and elaborate in its day. Est.: $2,000-$4,000

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
