Fixed sight and standard two line FN and Browning mark on the left side of the slide, with the addition of an "(H)" Heer stamp, "eagle/ swastika" and "eagle/ WaA140" proofs. Checkered hardwood grips. With a brown leather Luftwaffe-style flap holster, minus belt loop, with faint ink markings inside the flap, an extra magazines, and a European Theater capture certificate for this pistol and a German sword (not included), made out 16 November 1945 to a "Lt. Col. E. Hemingway, U.S. News". As we can find no record of him holding an official rank in the military during World War II, we do not certify this pistol as having been the property of noted 20th Century author Ernest Hemingway.

Condition: Excellent, with 95% of the original blue finish, showing bright wear on the muzzle and high edges, thinning on the grip safety and scattered light handling marks. Grips are very good, with some light scratches and pressure dents. Holster is good, with a few tears and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
