Navajo & Zuni Old Pawn to Vintage Silver Pieces
Offered in this lot is a collection of handmade Native American silver jewelry. The lot includes a pair of earrings, two pins, a watch with a band inlaid with turquoise, and two watch band cuffs with turquoise. The earrings are large flat oval disks measuring 1 1/2" X 1". The face of the earring disk has a sunburst and snake fetish. The earrings hang from wire hooks. The back of the disks are stamped "Sterling" and "Teme". Next in the lot is a round pin stamped with a frog fetish. The pin is 1 1/2" across and also has a loop on the back, so it can be worn on a chain. The pin is stamped on the back with the artist’s hallmark. The second pin in the lot is a sterling silver thunderbird with a malachite cabochon in the center. The thunderbird is intricately stamped. The cabochon measures 3/4" x 5/8" and the stone is not highly polished. The next item is the watch and watchband. The watch is a Seiko and appears to be in working condition at this "time". The band has 1" silver cuffs with six petite bars of turquoise on each side, framed with twisted silver rope. The stretch part of the band is a scissor style 3 1/2". The last item is a pair of watchband cuffs. These cuffs measure 3/4" at the widest point and 1/2" at the narrow part; they are 1 1/2" long. Each cuff has six small oval turquoise pieces. These items are all in good condition.
