This lot features an authentic Fluorite Phosphylite inlaid, handmade Damascus knife by Navajo Native American and master silversmith, Wilson Dawes. The piece shows a drop point blade with an amazing forged Damascus blade showing a fine random ladder pattern. The handle displays wonderful Fluorite Phosphylite, giving the knife a wonderful smoky design. The piece is from silversmith and artist, Wilson Dawes of the Navajo people. The phosphylite is inlaid with silver linings in a unique stained glass or mosaic design, a truly wonderful work of art. The knife measures 8" overall, with the blade being 3 3/4" long.
