Available for your bidding pleasure is this Navajo Native American Second Phase Style Sterling Silver Concho Belt. This belt showcases sixteen beautiful conchos as well as a stamped and signed Sterling Silver buckle. Each concho is securely fastened to the black leather belt with copper loops. The second phase of the Navajo concho belt began when silversmiths learned to solder copper loops on the back of the conchos. This allowed for leather to be strung in the back of the concho, opening up the center of the concho for more detailed decoration. This piece shows wonderful condition with each sterling silver piece showing a wonderful polish and shine. The piece is stamped "Sterling" and is signed "N". The belt shows no holes to clasp the piece. It measures 49" long by 1 1/2" wide.
