Manufactured during the 1860s. The top of the barrel is marked "NATIONAL ARMS CO BROOKLYN. N.Y." The brass frame has a scroll engraving which extends to the barrel. The barrel and frame are silver plated. "AR10" assembly number is marked on the left side of the back strap and on both grips and "AR" on the back of the barrel.

Condition: Fine. The barrel retains 90% plus original silver plating with some minor pitting on the exposed metal. The frame retains 40% original silver plating with the exposed brass having an untouched patina. The right grip panel is cracked, otherwise the grips are very good with worn high edges and some worn checkering. Mechanically fine.
