Featured in this lot we have a Mountain Arts pottery end of the day bowl. Mountainside arts pottery was started by John Kovacs out of a shop located in New Jersey in 1929. The shop produced vases, figurines, and bowls till its closing in 1941. The bowl was made using the left over clay a the the end of the day to not let material go to waste. The bowl is marked "MP" on the bottom of the piece and "10" in the center of the bowl. The bowl is in good condition with little to no wear on the piece. It measures about 10" in diameter.
