Signed by Daniel Dougherty an attorney in Philadelphia dated 13 Jan. 1843 to Moses McLean, attorney in Gettysburg, concerning to sign a Deed if forwarded. The McLean property in Gettysburg is now a part of the National Park Service, and Daniel Dougherty was a prominent Penn., attorney and legislator. A large paper folded with the address on the exterior of the folded document with paid marked for postage and an old Philadelphia stamp. 9 3/4" wide by 15 1/4" tall when not folded.
