Model 1902 Luger Carbine, #24424, .30 Luger cal., 11-3/4'' barrel, blue finish with straw small parts, factory checkered walnut grips, with matching numbered checkered walnut shoulder stock, and three unmarked nickel-plated magazines with walnut bases, with original sling, takedown tool, pin punch, and combination cleaning rod/oiler, all in later mfg'd luggage case, probably by Huey Gun Cases, MO. Blank chamber, DWM marked toggle, lower portion of thumb safety polished bright, 3-position adjustable rear sight, with long ramp front sight with blue bead; scalloped toggle knobs and grip safety. Considered rare by collectors with approx. 2500 mfg'd in various sub-categories. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 97% original blue. Left side forward edge of frame, sideplate, and frame flat with light general frosting to finist. Straw parts with light to just moderate thinning and carbon spotting. Action is crisp, bore is fine. All visible matching numbers. Grips remain crisp and show some oil darkening; forend with two small impressions just below takedown latch. Stock is excellent. Original sling missing stud and with some repairs. Newly made case with very minor handling marks to exterior. Est.: $10,000-$15,000. (C&R/PPT) (John Siroonian estate)
