Model 1833 Artillery sword, leather scabbard and scarce buff leather U.S. belt by Ames in overall very good condition showing an 1844 date on the sword’s hilt and J.H. inspection mark; brass grip assembly in overall verygood with rich patina and very rare W.A.T. inspection stamp on cross guard and J.H. on reverse side of guard with A.D.K scratched also in middle of the guard; blade is overall good with some scattered areas of erosionand pin prick pitting; scabbard is overall good with some crackling and a separation at the top of the brass tip; stitching of leather mostly missing; buff belt and hanger in very good condition as is the brass USbelt buckle.
