For your bidding pleasure is this Miles City Saddlery Batwing Leather Chaps. The Miles City Saddelry was created in 1909, when C. E. Coggshall sold his business to Frank Jelinek, Bert Coleman, and Clem Kathman for approximately $9,500. Kathman, the only leather worker of the trio, had been Coggshalls shop foreman. The zenith of their manufacturing era spanned the years 1910-1919, similar to Al. Furstnow Saddlery, its major competitor in Miles City. Batwing chaps are cut wide with a flare at the bottom. Generally made of smooth leather, they have only two or three fasteners around the thigh, thus allowing great freedom of movement for the lower leg. The chaps show smooth leather leggings with the traditional batwing flare with three aluminum conchos, simple decoration for the pristine craftsmanship and superb hardy make of Miles City Saddlery. This pair of chaps shows pockets on either side set behind the outseam. The measurements of the chaps are: A) Outseam- 36" B) Inseam- 29" C) Upper Thigh- 23" D) Mid Thigh- 21" E) Knee- 20" F) Waist- 36"
