In preparation for the 1984 Olympics, captain of the 1980 "Miracle on Ice" team Mike Eruzione worked in conjunction with Anheuser-Busch, to raise funds for the Olympic Games through the Olympic Art Work Project. This is one of the five unique works of art created. Mike Eruzione used his equipment to decorate the canvas that was placed on the floor. He used his hockey stick as a brush. He wore his skates and walked in paint then on the canvas. The end result is this exceptional, one of a kind art that measures 79-3/4" x 53-3/4". Framed, 80-1/2" x 54-1/2". Accompanied by a copy of the advertisement appearing in Sports Illustrated for the artwork. Accompanied by an LOA. This lot will be expensive to ship.
