Mid-eastern armor piercing dagger with gold Damascene decoration and pearl grips circa 19th century. The dagger measures 12” overall with 7 and nearly ½” blade showing a reinforced tip for piercing armor. The blade has been cleaned andpolished and we cannot see if there is any Damascus pattern however it is definitely forged. The hilt area and grip is nicely gold Damascene. The grip scales are old pearl and one section on one side is made of two pieces with an almostimperceptible joint. The condition is very good plus to near fine overall with over cleaning to the blade. Est.: $375-$750
