Available in this lot we have a Maxfield Parrish original framed print originating from the mid 20th century. Maxfield Parrish was a American painter and Illustrator born in 1870 and died in 1966 at the age of 95. He was actively painting during the first half of the 20th century and was known for his vibrant colors and helped shape what is known as the Golden Age of Illustration. Maxfield has painted just under 900 different works including cards, magazine covers, calendars, and gallery paintings. This print shows a woman in a grey robe standing at the edge of a lake with her arms outstretched. The background shows a mountain lake with mountains rising to each side. The top of the piece looks as if it's covered in leaves. The print is set into a wooden frame with a resin floral accent piece across the top. The piece shows good condition overall with the frame showing wear and the resin accent showing some damage. The frame measures 19 1/2" wide by 13" tall.
