Ornate chapeau type hat with gold brocade and Mexican green, white, red colors on dark blue felt. General's uniform with fancy embroidered collar and cuffs, large fancy epaulettes, showing Mexican eagles in gold and silver bullion through silver eagle on brass buckle. Creme colored wool trousers. Thigh high leather boots of proper style with simple spurs. Light blue and heavy gold sword sash with embroidered gold leaf ornamentation. Includes high grade Mexican eagle headed officer' sword with Mexican eagle & snake in guard, wire over shark skin grip, etched blade with fancy mounts, from 19th Century. Sword spine marked "Klingenthal (Germany)", indicating German manufacture for Mexican import. Overall Very Good plus condition, with minor fading and aging. Joseph Musso Collection
