Merwin and Hulbert patent pocket army revolver manufactured by Hopkins and Allen, .44-40 cal., 3-3/8" barrel, double action, nickel finish, hard rubber grips, Fourth Model, serial #6093. The revolver shows75-85% original nickel with most of the loss on the backstrap and right side of frame. The nickel finish is unpolished and the edges are sharp and crisp and there is a dark patina with natural aging where the finishhas drifted. The hammer and trigger guard show 50-70% case hardening. The action is tight, the bore is very good+. There is an index line on the cylinder. A sharp and attractive Pocket Army that is scarce indouble action. Est.: $2,500-$5,000
