First of all we have a Mel Odom Seriagraph titled "The Red Kiss". The seriagraph was originally purchased from Prestige Art Galleries on Chicago's North Shore and comes with complete provenance.
This work was appraised over 10 years ago for $2,000.00 and the appraisal is included in the lot.
The seriagraph has an image size of 24 by 32 inches and has been professionally framed with Museum UV glass. The work is ready to hang and has overall (framed) dimensions of 33 1/2 by 44 1/2 inches.
Shortly after producing this work Mel Odom was named Artist of the Year by Playboy Magazine. So also included in this lot is the September, 1980 issue of Playboy which features this print.
Finally a book titled The Art of Playboy also pays particular attention to Odom and his work. This print is listed in the book, and the book is included in this lot.

3. A buyer's premium of 15% of the successful bid price will be added to and is payable by the purchaser as part of the total purchase price.

Notwithstanding the preceding condition, if within thirty (30) days of the sale of any lot, the pruchaser can provide to us in writing, the opinion of an industry recognized, and properly credentialled expert that the item was in effect inaccurately described in the catalog, and within fifteen (15) days after such notice the purchaser returns the lot to us in the same condition as when sold, we as agent for the Consignor will rescind the sale and refund the purchase price.
