Meacham-style conversion of a Sharps single shot rifle, .45 cal., 30” octagon barrel with “Old Reliable” marking and “Sharps Rifle Co., Bridgeport, Conn.” markings near the breech, single trigger with “poor man’s” settrigger screw beneath lockplate; wood stocks, #C43835. This gun is in overall good condition showing a brown patina on the barrel and silvery toning to the case colors of the receiver; strong rifling in thebarrel, good action and markings; underside of the barrel is stamped “6”; buttstock is overall good and shows saddle ring bar of a carbine stock with an old well-done repair to the top front of the comb; Lawrence ladderrear sight and old copper blade front sight; just the type of frontier gunsmith conversion that would have been made in the West and used to put meat on the family table; from an old collection. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
