Manufactured by Mauser-Werke, A.-G., Werk Borsigwalde, Berlin-Borsigwalde, Eichborndamn equipped with a ZF41/1 sniper scope. The scope is marked "fzg (Feinmechanik e. G.m.b.H., Kassel) +" and "ZF41/1". The scope is equipped with sun shields and mounted on the correct "duv" code mount marked with an "eagle/214" proof and "7477". The top of the receiver ring is marked "eagle/135 ar / 44" and the left side is marked with a Nazi firing proof and the serial number and the right side with an "eagle/26" and an unrecognizable marking. The left rear of the barrel is marked with a Nazi firing proof, the top with three "eagle/WaA85" proofs and "37R103" at the breech. The left side wall is marked "Mod. 98". Hooded front sight and tangent rear sight graduated to 2,000 meters. All stamped parts with barrel bands secured by screws, no provisions for a cleaning rod and mounted with a correct laminated stock and handguard with a cupped buttplate and proof marked on the right side, bottom and in the grip area. Blue barrel and receiver with a phosphate finish on the remaining parts. Complete with a "jvd" coded tan metal scope case with a canvas loop and extra front sun shield.

Condition: Near mint as professionally restored. The rifle retains 98% blue finish on the barrel and receiver with thinning on the front sight base and hood. The remaining parts retain 95% phosphate finish with scattered minor thinning and wear. The stock is excellent with a few minor scuffs and dings, and clear proof marks. The markings are crisp and clear. The scope is very fine. The action is excellent. The scope case is good with a few minor dings and discoloration. The extra shield is excellent.
