Mauser Broomhandle Model 1896 .30 cal., semi-auto pistol with shoulder stock, leather holster and rod; pistol is #80164; shows 80-90% original toning blue finish, some slight dulling, minor erosion and pin prickpitting just starting from moisture just gathered from being stored in holster; grips are good; the bore is bright, all matching visible serial numbers, neckar address on right side of frame with no S marking onhammer; the action is not working properly and is either missing a bolt spring or is gummy; the stock is matching and in good condition with no splits, just normal wear; the leather carrier is marked “Joseph Moll en Goch” and dated 1916; the name Ostertag is penned on inside of carrier, probably the WW I soldier who carried it; the leather is fair to good and original; an original tool for take down and main spring removal isincluded; the handle of the tool seems slightly long. A copy of an original document from ATF registering this pistol and stock states our consignor obtained it in 1959 in Germany while a Lt. in the U.S.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
