The receiver has wonderfully executed floral scroll engraving with the left side having a gold inlaid dog running to the left and a gold inlaid rabbit running to the right. The right side of the receiver has a gold inlaid squirrel and a gold inlaid chipmunk. There is also floral scroll engraving on the barrel takedown ring and a wedge over the chamber area. Mounted on a nicely figured Fluer-de-Lis pattern checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic grip cap and checkered steel buttplate. With a letter from Elaine Ennis dated March 1,1990 stating "the model 241 receiver (# 1Co842) I sold to you was probably the last "F" grade gun engraved by my husband, Carleton Ennis.". Carl Ennis was a longtime Remington factory engraver.

Condition: Professionally embellished, 98% blue finish remains with some minor muzzle wear and a few scattered minor scratches along the barrel. 99% of the French gray remains with only minor marks. The wood is very good with some scattered minor scratches and dings overall.
