These beautiful 10kt white-gold rings were given to members of the 1973-74 Houston Aeros to celebrate their Avco Cup Championship. This specific one was awarded to hockey great Marty Howe and it has been a cherished part of his personal collection ever since. 1973-74 was Marty's first season in Houston and he was joined by his brother Mark as well as his legendary father Gordie, who came out of retirement to play with them. At the young age of 19-20 that year, Marty had solid professional rookie season on Houston's blueline, scoring 24 points. The Howe's had instant success in Houston (obviously) and went on to win a second Avco World Trophy the following season.

This size 9 ring is incredibly detailed from head to toe. It has the league name engraved "WORLD HOCKEY ASSOCATION" on the face and displays both the Aeros logo as well as three 35pt. full-cut diamonds. One shank has "HOWE", "74", "CHAMPS" and a hockey player proudly displaying Marty's number 3. The other shank has an Avco World Trophy with the word "CHAMPIONS" above it. Inside the band it bears the 10k marking as well as STAR to indicate the manufacturer. Very rarely are keepsakes such as this made available for public sale
