Martially-inspected Colt Third Model Dragoon percussion revolver, .44 cal., 7-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #17850. This gun is in overall good condition showing a brown patina on the barrel assembly and cylinder with scattered spots of erosion and pin prick pitting and numerous old dings on the cylinder yet lots of cylinder scene where the dings aren’t present; traces of case color on the frame and loading lever; patina to the brass trigger guard and back strap; fair + bore, good action and markings, all matching numbers including the wedge and arbor, overall good grips with both side inspector cartouches visible. Est.: $4,000-$5,000.
