Marlin Model 1893 special order rifle, .38-55 cal., 26" octagon barrel, full magazine, crescent butt, standard grade checkered pistol grip stocks, half-nickel finish, period or factory presentation plaque inlaidinto right butt stock which is period inscribed in script letters "C. L. Schmidt". The barrel and magazine tube retain 90-95% original blue, thinning on the edges with some slight toning, markings sharp, edgescrisp. The frame, forend cap and butt plate show 80-90% old period nickel with some light cleaning and some minor erosion just starting where the nickel has lifted. The stocks are very good+ to near fine with acouple of bruises and scratches, normal aging, sharp checkering and excellent wood to metal fit. The action is tight, the bore is very good+. An attractive special order rifle that should be further researched.Est.: $2,500-$5,000

Checkout Date & Times: You may checkout during the auction each day and at our business location after the auction. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
