Serial Number: 46548
Condition: Good. The barrel and magazine retain 40% original blue finish with the balance having a smooth brown patina. The receiver has been cleaned some time ago and there is strong original blue finish in the protected areas around the hammer and saddle ring, otherwise the receiver has a smooth mottled gray. The hammer retains half of the original case colors and the lever and buttplate have a smooth mottled gray patina with strong original case colors on the lever in the protected area near the receiver. The forearm is fair, with a nailed repair and two cracks on the left front of the forearm extending from the front to the barrel band, and a brass screw has been added to the left side of the barrel. There is a screw in the left side of the otherwise very good buttstock behind the wrist, reason unknown and overall there are some scattered minor dents, dings and scratches. The markings are clear. The action is fine.
