Marlin-Ballard target rifle, possibly .38-55 caliber but not marked, 28” half round/half octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, checkered wood stocks, #5503. This gun is in overall very good condition showing a plum brown patina on barrel with some scattered erosion and area of pitting on the right side of the barrel at the front of the octagon portion; considerable muted case colors on receiver, very good + bore, crispaction, very good markings, period adjustable vernier tang sight; fore stock is very good with horn tip; butt stock is an old replacement with an inlet rib on the underside of darker wood, an inlet matchingdarker wood piece at the top of the butt stock at the rear and a checkered horn butt plate. We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
