Mario Beschi full side lock, Best Quality SxS shotgun Model S105 in 12 gauge with 2 sets of barrels in Perazzi case. Mario Beschi is a well recognized Brescian maker . The gun shows single selective trigger, automatic ejectors, lowrise ventilated ribs with 1st set of barrels measuring 26 ¼” choked improved cylinder in each barrel. The 2nd set of barrels measure 30 ¼” and show the same type lowrise ventilated rib choked improved modified right, extra full left. The stock measures 14 ¾” to the end of the hard rubber pad and just under 14” to the end of the wood. The gun is nicely engraved with scrolls and florals that are signed master engraver Pedersoli, who is considered among best 5 Italian artists. The condition is fine to near excellent with 98% to 99% original finish and very slight evidence of minor use. The stocks are select walnut with a nice grain and show very close and well done checkering with an oil finish. The forend is a semi beaver tail. The leather case shows makers cartouche Emmebi and made in Italy. The case shows some scratches and the handle is detached from the mounting. A side lock two barrel set of this quality made in Brescia today with two barrels would likely start at $35,000. Serial number 02587. Est.: $7500 -$15,000
