Mariette Brevette marked DA percussion pepperbox with ivory grips, 6 shot barrel group in 41 cal (about 10mm) 7-3/4” overall with 3-3/4” barrel grouping. The metal was French gray or bright finished and now hasgone to a natural patina with good patterns on barrels. The metal shows a light coating of rust but at least very good and action working. Belgian proofs, grips are original and the pistol dates about 1850-1860’s. From an old New York collector’s estate. Est.; $750-$1,500.
