Manhattan percussion revolver, .36 cal., 6-1/2” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood grips, #18406 accompanied by a leather flap holster, iron Manhattan marked bullet mold and leather belt with U.S. brassspread eagle and Union shield officer’s buckle. The gun is in overall good to very good condition showing traces of original blue in protected areas of the barrel, scattered traces of original case color onthe frame and loading lever, majority of original cylinder scene remains; all matching visible numbers, fair bore, crisp action, strong markings, very good wood grips with considerable original varnish. The mold is in overall good condition with some old mars and pin prick pitting; the holster is fair showing checkering of the top layer of leather on the body of the holster and well-worn flap; the accompanying belt is fair + with attached hanger; the buckle is very good; no other information on this grouping is available except consignor tag indicating “From Dick Malone, Jan. 1989; it’s a fairly safe bet that this set likely saw action in
