Manhattan .36 caliber percussion revolver, factory 6-1/2” barrel, blue and case hardened finish, varnish wood grips, serial #19197 with capping shield still attached. The revolver remains in good original condition showing 10-20% original blue mixing with a dark brown patina. Some erosion and light to moderate pitting. The cylinder shows 30-50% cylinder scene, the loading lever, hammer, and frame show traces of case hardening within a grey patina, the varnish wood grips are good t very good with 75-85% varnish, some minor scratches, wear at the edges, normal imperfections. The backstrap and triggerguard show 20-30% darkened silver plate that has turned almost black. All matching visible serial numbers, good action, good overall. The bottom front of loading lever has chipped away beneath the spring or latch. A good Civil War era Manhattan with very nice grips. Note: Wedge is an excellent replacement. Original wedge serial numbered to match is included and shows some dings on its edges. Est: $600 - $1,200
