Magnificent pair of exhibition quality pinfire revolvers fully and elaborately gold and silver inlaid with ivory stocks and accessories by Lefaucheux of Paris. This pair of single action 11 mm pistols are the style of 1859 and showelaborate gold and silver inlay with bright fire blue finish. The hammers are chiseled in dolphin heads and the frame screws are beautifully turned and chiseled as a decorative effect. The original ivory stocks show yellowing and age and are silver overlaid in a matching style to the elaborate multicolor inlays. The pair are numbered 115953 and 115954. The condition is fine to near excellent showing just some beginning age but are near mint with bright near-perfect interiorsshowing little to no use. The red velveteen lined interior to the case shows some minor impressions and slight fraying with minor aging but is also near mint. The tools are of extremely high quality and show matching gold and silver inlays withgold initials J.G. inlaid into a blued plaque on the top of the accessory box.
