Magnificent Cased Gold Inlaid Swiss Made Remington Style Single Shot Vest Pocket Pistol
This is a nice example of a vest pocket pistol made by Weber and Ruesch, in Zurich, Switzerland, who purchased the Swiss patent rights from Remington, and most likely made for someone in Mexico or South America. (Pistol inlaid in gold "T. Diaz") The pistol looks exactly like the Remington Vest Pocket Pistol. The pistol has a bright blue finish with a matte finish on the frame sides and top strap. The top strap has a gold inlaid decorative border with inward arrows pointing at "T. DIAZ" in gold inlay. The frame sides have a simple gold inlaid double line border and gold inlaid scrollwork in the center. There is a hammer safety device attached to the left side of the frame. Post front and frame notch rear sights, and fitted with checkered walnut grips. Complete in deluxe case with satin lined lid and fitted purple velvet, with a cleaning rod.

The case is very good with some flaking on the exterior and some fading of the velvet lining.
