M1-C Garand sniper rifle, .30-06 cal., mounted with Kollmorgen 4X power scope, designated MC1 on Griffin and Howe quick detachable side mount; barrel dated 1952 and Springfield Armory marked, with large SA52marking behind rear sight on receiver, serial #3534707. The rifle also shows a leather detachable cheekpad, flash hider and fabric sling. See "U.S. Marine Corp. Scout Sniper" by Peter Senich, page 137-153 for fulldiscussion of this rifle. The scope is marked FSN-1240-247-1106. The Griffin and Howe New York base is correct, matches well and is stamped 3487306. The rifle is in fine to near excellent condition; there are nomarkings on the stock, the bore is fine to excellent, the optics are clear. Est.: $2,000-$4,000

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
