Thomas (Tommy) Singer (born 1940 - May 31, 2014)
He is one of the most regarded silversmiths in Navajo history having created the ‘CHIP INLAY’ an intricate use of turquoise and coral chips integrated in to the silver work. This method made Mr. Singer famous world around in the 60’s. He is known for his overlay work, storyteller pieces, rug patterns and traditional motifs.
Navajo handmade sterling silver hoop earrings. Earrings are designed with a two braided rope design on the outside, flanked with two silver polished bands and a center double rope design. Earrings measure approximately 5.8 mm wide, with an overall diameter of 16.8 mm, each earring weighs approximately 2.5mm with a combined weight of 5 g. Earrings stamped M. Tahe , Sterling.
