Lot of two miniature antique cannons, (1) 18th century style cast brass tube 6-1/2” in length on authentic looking wood carriage, a cast fancy plaque sweated to barrel reads “Augustus II Rex Polonia et Elector Saxonia1712”. The carriage measures almost 4” in height by 11” in length, is nicely detailed with metal accents and nice detailing. The electors of Saxony created the finest early arms which this was copied from. (2) is aminiature cannon cast brass tube measuring 8” in length on carved wood base. Carriage measures approx 2-1/2” height by 4-1/4” the breech shows standing lions holding crest with “CARS” on top and 1626 date on bottom. The condition of both is good with one tube being drilled so that it would not be used the other has no touch hole. These are pre-war antiques that may date back to about 1900 at the earliest.
