Lot of two bayonets, both of German manufacture. The first features a 10 1/2” blade, showing heavy use and sharpening. The metal scabbard shows significant loss of finish and surface rust, with a wood handle. The second, a Solingen markedbayonet for a 1909 Argentine Mauser, serialized M 7742 on both blade and black metal scabbard. The blade is 16” long and still in Cosmoline. The overall length of the bayonet is 21”, with a wooden handle. Est.: $50-$75.
