Lot of horns and misc. including two large map powder horns, age of scrimshaw unknown but well-accomplished, first map horn is approx. 13” overall with carved spout and wood base with wood plug, map includes a banner with “Col. Joseph Frye, Ano Dno 1756” and large crest of lion and unicorn marked “Diev Et Mon Droit” with map showing the Hudson River, New York, Saratoga, etc. with nicely done buildings, ships, villages, etc.; the second map horn is approx. 14” overall with carved spout and wood base with small iron ring, map includes buildings, trees, ships, cannons, waterways, etc. and many locations such as New York, Ft. Ontario, German Flat, etc.; both of these large maps are in overall good condition; a smaller priming-type horn with scrimshaw of spread American Eagle with banner “9th Regt Infantry”, approx. 9” overall with carved spout and wood plug with iron ring; age of scrimshaw unknown but nicely accomplished; small whale’s tooth, approx. 4” overall and in good condition; plus three cut remnant horn pieces and a remnant stag horn “button”.
