Lot of 3 socket bayonets: 1. European socket bayonet marked 1855-380 and in reverse “SHVB 189” with movable spring piece for attaching over sight. The blade measures 19-3/4” and 22-1/2” overall for .69 caliber + musket;very good condition. 2. Unidentified and unmarked socket bayonet, European manufacture, 20-1/2” overall with 18” blade for .58 caliber + musket; fair to good. 3. British bayonet proofed and marked “G Gins”for .58 caliber + musket, 17” blade and 19-5/8” overall. Very good condition, some numbers stamped on collar. Est.: $100-$300.
