Lot of 2 sheath knives of similar design and construction showing dog bone marking and one marked “T616” the other marked “MK568”. “T616” shows a 4-1/2” curved blade with file marks hand cut on rear. The grip is of select rosewood with brass mounts and knife shows good quality hand work. The blade has been sharpened and used; condition is good; the knife is 9” overall with a military style scabbard that shows a “T” stamp. Its brother, “MK568”, is similarly constructed with different angle to the blade; very similar but not exactly the same and unmarked scabbard; both knives show dog bone stamp. Age and maker unknown. Est.: $200-$400.
