Lot of 2 Confederate canteens both in good to very good condition and described as follows. Canteen number 1 shows Cedar type wood construction with metal bands and period stitched linen strap. The canteen body is carved with the initials “A.J.H.” A corncob stopper is included for display. The 2nd canteen is the barrel type with 4 bands and well-made turned stopper. The condition is good showing normal aging, cracking and etc. The collection of William A. Gary consigned by hisestate. Est.: $1000-$2000
