The heifers are home raised, AI’d to S Architect 9501 due March 15
From a herd heavily influenced by Spickler Ranch North genetics, these quiet dispositioned, home-raised heifers
are bred to calve March 15th for 8 days to Spickler Ranch North, Genex, and SAV sire S Architect 9501. Much of
the cow herd has been sired by Spickler bulls sourced from the Queen Essa cow family to propagate the fertility,
longevity, and udder quality within that bloodline. Included with the emphasis on maternal traits, carcass traits
have also been maintained in the herd. The steer mates to these females in the offering quality graded 95% Choice
and Prime at slaughter on the Angus GeneNet grid. The heifers have been summered on pasture, are on a complete
health and mineral program, and were administered with ViraShield 6 + LV5 and Bovilis Guardian vaccines
as well as Safe-Guard Dewormer at preg-check time. At sale time, the heifers will weigh approximately 975 lbs.
