Lot 197 (14TSA-1): Winchester Model 1886 lever action rifle, .45-90 W.C.F. cal., 26” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, adjustable Lyman style tang sight, wood stocks, #117086 in overall near fine condition displaying themajority of its original blue and case hardened finish, fine bore and interior, crisp action, very good wood stocks with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; copy of a factory letter confirms caliber, barrel type,plain trigger and indicates received in warehouse on June 4, 1898 and shipped on September 1, 1898 to order number 4185; an honest un-molested ’86 in a great caliber!
