Lithograph signed lower right Robert Moak entitled “0820, 18 April, 1942” showing American bombers taking off from carrier and heading for their historic attack on Tokyo. The print was published by The Doolittle Tokyo Raiders Association and is numbered 1273 of 2000. It is hand inscribed to Bob Wilcox with best regards by J. H. Doolittle who was the leader of this famous raid on Tokyo. The print shows some slight warping and minor aging. Measures approximately 20” x 27 ½”. Adm. Doolittle recently passed away in this is sure to be highly desirable and years to come for World War II history collectors. Est.: $250-$500+++
