Lifetime collection of General Juan Jaime, consisting of over 200 original Mexican historical letters and period documents. These documents spanned the years of Jaime’s life from his birth certificate to hisfuneral. Also, his many years of service in the Mexican revolution holding virtually every rank from Private to General. He was a close friend of Alvero Obregon and served with him in the battle where Obregon lost his right arm. He served on the President’s cabinet and was involved in the capture of his would-be assassins. Later he was with the President when he was assassinated during the reelection celebration. There arenumerous articles in English and Spanish which relate to the assignation attempts and subsequent assassination. The package includes a signed autographed photograph of General Obregon and other notable people andsoldiers of the period and actual newspaper clippings telling of the events Jaime was involved with. This magnificent ensemble includes the general’s three-star hat, two presentation medals in their original case,
