Leech and Rigdon,.36 caliber Confederate made percussion Navy size revolver in good to very good original condition made at Columbus, Mississippi before the factory moved to Greensboro, Georgia, serial number 121. The Leech and Rigdon marking is mostly visible on the barrel although there are some nicks in this area. There are many other small nicks around the barrel lug on the metal surfaces of this revolver and the pistol has seen battle use. Also there are scatters light tomoderate pitting and erosion. The frame is smooth and has gone to a pleasant patina. The straps show a matching light patina and the grips are very good with some wear at the edges and small losses with minor imperfections. The metal shows forgingflaws which is normal on Confederate pistols. There is an assembly number 19 inside the front strap and that number matches the number penciled in the groove of the grips. The trigger screws is marred and a couple other screws may be oldreplacements. Refer Flayderman 10 – 011 The collection of William a Gary consigned by his estate. Est.: $15,000-$30,000
