Lee Arms Co. Model 1879 magazine fed U.S. Navy bolt-action rifle, .45-70 cal., 29” barrel, blue finish, wood stock, iron cleaning rod, sling swivels, #772; receiver and action of these early guns weremanufactured by the Sharps plant in Bridgeport. This gun is in overall very good condition showing traces of blue finish on the receiver with the balance of the metal surfaces gone to a brown patina, inspectorproofed on the left side of the barrel at the breech, very good bore, crisp action, good markings, correct sights, overall good wood with scattered old mars and scratches from carry and storage; a very desirable martialbolt-action. Est.: $1,250-$2,500.

We are open Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Little John's will be closed the Friday after the auction. Preview on October 27th 7 28th 9:00 to 11:00 am each day.

Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries. International buyers agree to pay all cost incurred including all shipping, insurance, exporter fees, all custom and duty fees associated with shipment. Post 1898 firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms Licensee in your place of residence. All Federal, State and Local Regulations apply and MUST be strictly followed.
